Charles Jencks: The man whose architecture uplifted the dying

Two minutes after Charles Jencks and his wife, Maggie, were told her cancer had returned and she had months to live, the couple found themselves in a dark hospital corridor. They were both remarkable people, highly intellectual and had travelled the world lecturing on architecture and history.
